President of the Board
Dr. Thomas Beague
Dr. Beague has been practicing general dentistry since 1993 in Elmont, NY. He has been involved with multiple dental missions, in Haiti and other places in the region. Now his main focus is supporting the deaf children of Institute Montfort.
Vice President of the Board
Dr. Paul Nacier
Dr. Nacier, is a physician, gastroenterologist. Retired from the position of chief of endoscopy at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center. He volunteers as a board member in Batey Relief Alliance, in South Queens Rotary satellite club, and he is a member of the Association Medicale Haitienne a l'etranger.

Gladys Coby
Gladys is the Co-Founder of Friends of Monfort and has supported the deaf children of Institute Monfort for almost 30 years. She is retired from 40 years in the medical profession as an Assistant Administrator and is a proud mother and grandmother. Gladys is also an active member of other non-profit organizations and religious affiliations and she has made it her mission to help serve others.

Maryse Haig
Maryse is a long-time Treasurer for the organization. She is a retired Computer Graphic & Accounting professional, and a long-time board member - from the inception of FOM. She is also a volunteer at Sacred Heart and St. Martin parishes.

Patricia Brintle
Pat is an artist. She lives in Whitestone, Queens. Her vibrant style mirrors her native Haiti. She also heads an organization called, From Here to Haiti, which repairs Catholic Churches in Haiti. Supporting the deaf children of Institute Montfort and helping them be fruitful, independent adults is an essential part of her life.

Serge Pinard
Serge R. Pinard, CFP is a Financial Consultant and a Retirement Planning Specialist with Equitable Financial Life, as well as Mutual of New York insurance companies for the last 35 years. He started in 2012 a Financial Planning partnership ‘’Premier Heritage’’ to better serve the Clients. Serge has been a Board Member for the last 15 years. He takes pride in helping the organization for the betterment of FOM and his expanded family in Haiti.

Florence Marc-Charles
A retired registered nurse who has dedicated her life to humanitarian projects. Inspired by her daughter Sylvie who is deaf, she supports the deaf community in New York and Haiti. She is one of the founding members of FOM and has remained active since its inception. She strongly believes that it is important to help the deaf achieve their highest potentials through education, job training to facilitate their integration into society.

Michele Etienne
Retired from a 45-year career in Finance at the non-profit Performing Arts organizations of Martha Graham Dance Company and School and later the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute Acting School in NYC. She studied at Institut Ste Rose de Lima in Haiti then at Bernard M. Baruch College of CUNY in NYC.

Dominique Jean-Charles
Dominique is a Registered Nurse of thirty-one years presently a Case Manager at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She is a mother of three loving young adults and actively involved in her church. Inspired to join and support FOM in memory of her beloved mother Annette Sanon who instilled a love for education and fostering educational opportunities for those less fortunate especially orphans and love of native country Haiti.

May Osse
May had the honor of serving as President of Friends of Montfort in the past. As well are her participation as a Board Member of FOM, she is an active
member of her community. She started the Corona chapters of Girls Scouts and Cub Scouts. As a recent retiree, she spends much of her leisure time traveling with her two daughters and six granddaughters.

Sara Beague
Sara has been involved in managing many dental and medical missions with her husband, Dr. Thomas Beague whom she has been married to for over 30 years. Her Korean heritage and love for Haiti have provided the catalyst for supporting and helping Haitian citizens in need for most of her life.

Max Osse
Max is the Chief Information Officer for Fulcrum Analytics, a data science consultancy. He joined the board in 2017 after visiting Institut Montfort and being inspired to help the school thrive. Max is also a board member of the New York City Charter School of the Arts.

Dr. Frantz Moise
Dr. Moise is a physician, and a psychiatrist, with a specialty in Child Psychiatry. Since his retirement from the clinical directorship at Sagamore Children’s Hospital, he cares for a small number of private patients. He spends time traveling, volunteering, embracing many hobbies, and enjoying time being a grandfather.

Caroline Leger
Caroline is a practicing Occupational Therapist. She is a private pediatric clinician that works with very young children with a variety of physical and learning disabilities. She is a wife and mother of two wonderful children. Her parents created a food center for young school children in Les Cayes, Haiti many years ago. Their dedication to providing help was a strong influence on her decision to work for the FOM organization.
