Support the School for Haitian Deaf and Deaf-Blind Children

Every child deserves a chance to access their untapped potential. No matter their disability - their ability to learn and thrive must be nurtured and supported. Friends of Montfort believes that every child's success is an essential part of Haiti's future.
Children Must Be Nurtured To Succeed

The deaf and deaf-blind population of Haitian children have traditionally been forgotten and marginalized. Their disability prevented their access to conventional learning and the ability to achieve the simple goal of becoming thriving members of society.
Together, with the Daughter of Wisdom's dedication and your donations, we are breaking the walls of silence and building a community designed to open the door to opportunities.

There is so much more to do.

Helping Children of Haiti Thrive.

The Montfort School for the deaf and deaf-blind children in Haiti was founded in 1957 by the Daughters of Wisdom. The institute is comprised of three schools. Our mission is to provide encouragement and financial support to deaf and deaf-blind children; scholarships for college-bound deaf high school seniors.
